I do envision a protocol that runs as firmware on a $5 stick and connects to
anybody whithin range. That would bring a sudden end to expensive internet
providers, censorship and Chinese people having trouble accessing google. I
wouldn't be surprised if Netsukuku runs into opposition from coorporate
world.

I'm also a sucker for a good conspiracy theory. (-:
