I ran NetsukukuPreperationClient.sh on my laptop since it has wifi, And this script includes wifi related things. I, Then ran Netsukuku NetsukukuLaptopPreperation.sh on my desktop, Since it is an old one, And does not have wifi. I, Then, Ran, On both computers, NetsukukuDHCPServerPreperation.sh, Before running the netsukuku command, ntkd -i eth0 -v 3.
I was able to ping both computers, From each computer. To find the proper IP address, I just scrolled through the log until I found something like added neighbour to list, Or something like that. I think gnode was under it. Anyway, It says the IP address of the other computer. And it worked when I pinged it! I did the same on the other computer to find the IP. Also, At one point, The other computer kinda talks to it. And it lists the IP address each time.
One of these should let you ping it, Anyway, It worked for me! 100% success on every ping! ^-^
Now, I'm going to try sharing the internet connection of the laptop with the desktop through the netsukuku internet sharing service! However, I'll have to figure out how to manually set up the wifi card, And connect to the router. Since netsukuku requires you to kill network-manager. Can someone help me with this? Either in email, Or in IRC, I'd be very grateful if you did!
