Hi everyone, I have gone through all of my "todo" lists and some of my ideas for further development of my project. Below you can see my idea of a timeline for the coming 5 weeks: Week 1: GTK printing - I would like to finish printing in GTK, which i have started last week. It still has some bugs and doesn't provide all of the functionality provided by the printing dialog. Week 2: Haru & Pdf - The lack of Unicode handling must be solved primarily. This might involve some more work with additional stuff - like font measuring (making the font measuring functions aware of variable byte-length of characters etc.) Also - I hope I could find some time to add a possibility to set some options of pdf exporting. Week 3: Improve page loosening - both, improving the loosening that is done already(e.g. what was earlier discussed here ) and adding 'vertical loosening' to prevent elements from being cut at the bottom/top of pages. Week 4: I would like to spend it adding smaller features - like suppressing images, which was requested at netsurf-user at the beginning of my work, saving the settings lastly used in a printing dialog. Also, for this week - polishing the code for the suggested 'pencils down' date, to make a kind of release candidate version ( and ask for feedback at netsurf-user ) . The list of tasks for this week will be supplemented with all the todo's left from the previous weeks. Week 5: Google suggests to make it 'a week to scrub code, write tests, improve documentation, etc.' Firstly - I would like to add the 'paged-output howto', that I mentioned in my proposal (add it to the docs distributed with the code). But I believe that there might be still something to add (any requests from the netsurf-user list?).
As you can see - the plans for the first three weeks are quite determined, but the time of the latter two is flexible and open for your ideas and propositions - let me know if any of you has any requests :) Adam
