Which I've just had another look at with some different debugging
tools, and finally managed to fix.

Yes.  I have a number of files in my resources directory (locally)
which are copied from elsewhere, these include default.css,
adblock.css, Aliases, ca-bundle and all the translations of message
files.

How do I get symlinks into the SVN?  Just create the links here and
commit them as usual? (I can see that going wrong)
