Firstly, thanks for the script John-Mark! :)
A few extra tips according to the guidelines: 1) "Please only provide a sample of the work you had done by August 18, 2008." The perl script could probably be modified to help us do this, but it all ready outputs the revision numbers, so it's easy enough to just tar the ones committed prior to or as of August 18th. 2) "Name your tarball file according to the following convention: givennames_surnames.tar.* (e.g. LeslieLynn_Hawthorn.tar.gz)" NetSurf's code sample page: http://code.google.com/p/google-summer-of-code-2008-netsurf/ Google's How-to: http://groups.google.com/group/google-summer-of-code-announce/web/how-to-provide-google-with-sample-code And remember... "We will begin sending final program payments to all students whether or not we have a code sample on file for you, but we will send neither t-shirt nor certificate to you until we have received your code sample.".... Do it for the t-shirt! I hope everyone had fun this summer! I know I did. I hope to see you all around in #netsurf. Fandango work will be a free-time project for me from now on, but I hope to have plenty to spend on it. :) Sean On Thu, Sep 4, 2008 at 7:10 AM, John-Mark Bell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > On Thu, 4 Sep 2008, John-Mark Bell wrote: > >> On Tue, 26 Aug 2008, John-Mark Bell wrote: >> >>> We probably want to come up with a plan for getting the GSoC students' >>> work extracted from SVN and into a tarball that they can upload to Google. >> >> Ok, here's how to do this. >> >> $ svn co svn://source.netsurf-browser.org/svn-tools > > That's clearly svn://source.netsurf-browser.org/trunk/svn-tools.
