its a lot more work, need more program knowledge and i think its also a lot of
work to keep it
maintened so it work on future versions of netsurf, because it happen that
there need changes in
the interface to native.

a example is also the Morph OS netsurf.itix do lots work to make netsurf on MOS
and MUI working, but
now his code does not work anymore. He seem not have time to change that all, so
newer netsurf can
use MUI.

amigaos3 can use MUI Version in big parts, but change now all i have too not
the time and enough
knowledge to change that in short time, so the SDL Port is used for amigaos3.

The OS4 Reaction GUI look on AOS3 ugly in compare to SDL netsurf, on Reaction
its not possible to
use truecolor images in buttons with alpha channel.the GUI look is same as
windows 98, no color
fades in buttons possible etc..

SDL is the fastest and easiest way to port a program to everywhere and keep
future versions running
too.
and i dont miss in a browser more windows or big GUI.

Tab browsing is best.but if really more windows are need, SDL 1.3 suppport that.

Here i see your development plans.

http://wiki.netsurf-browser.org/Development_Plan

maybe when netsurf 5 is here, there need no changes in the interface between
native and netsurf core
but currently i have no hope that can do native GUI and this work without
changes in netsurf 5.
