Unfortunately it seems that despite some pretty vigorous efforts [1] to get a Java 1.6 or later running on out PPC Mac OS X system (chimera) that it is not within my capabilities.
A recent jenkins update necessary for security fixes has resulted in the git module *requiring* features from Java 1.6 [2]. I must therefore, regretably, inform everyone that the Mac OS X PPC builds will no longer be performed by the CI system which will also mean that no future releases will be forthcoming. This pretty much signals the end of the NetSurf projects support for this target unless some way of installing Java 1.6 that actually works is found. This will need to be combined with a donation of a G5 or similar as a build box as our mac-mini is also now showing issues as mentioned in the previous updates.
