Hi everybody,

You may remember some weeks ago my willingness to test the latest CSS templates
shipped with Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 on version 1 of Netsurf.

Since there were so many templates, in various combinations of page layout, I
chose to test the page builds using inline CSS. Since I'm using VirtualRiscPC,
jumping back and forth between the two OSes was child's play.

I am happy to report that 99.9% of the templates render successfully 'out of
the box'. The only page layouts which rendered strangely, were the one column
centered layouts. The center column was being rendered off center. A quick
refresh adjusted the layout properly.

I'm aware that test builds may or may not have resolved this problem, but I'm
very pleased with this development all the same.

I've recently updated my website to use a different template (still in beta at
www.sassquad.com/v2), and am also pleased to see it render perfectly in
Netsurf. This uses @import, which is normally used to filter out lesser
browsers from attempting to render complicated layouts. No problem for Netsurf.

If you wish to know more about the offending templates for debugging purposes,
do get in touch. I'm happy to help out. I'll leave by saying 'well done' to the
developers - it's a fantastic achievement for the platform.

Kind regards,

Steve Scott
