Hi, I've just joined the list. I'm the lead developer for the Puppy Linux project.
I'm testing NetSurf as the internal HTML viewer in Puppy, for viewing the local HTML help files (all our help is HTML, we don't have man pages). Works well. What would really clinch it though is if I could also use NetSurf for the CUPS printing web interface. It is started by: netsurf http://localhost:631/ And it comes up okay, but when I choose to add a printer, a drop-down list does not display -- only the first entry in the list displays. NetSurf and Puppy Linux would be a very good match, as Puppy is all about small size -- the live-CD is only 94MB. See more at: http://www.puppylinux.com We rate about 17 at distrowatch. If NetSurf could work with CUPS, that would really cement it as the best choice for Puppy. I was wondering if the developers could consider that as a priority to support for the next release.
