Hi Over the last few months I have tried to load recent builds of Netsurf onto my three Iyonixes and in each case, during the initial loading sequence, the machines freeze solid when scanning the fonts at Fonts.Frutiger.Bold.Cn. The normal escape procedures do not work and the machines have to be turned off in order to start again.
I have tried disguising that particular font by temporarily re-naming it and that seems to work until the loading freezes again at another font further up the scan. In fact I have disguised a number of fonts this way but the scan seems to keep finding new problem ones further along. I have not had enough time to tackle this problem, and so abandoned Netsurf for a while, but I hear reports of how good it is and would now like to have another go. I am using RISCOS 5.10 and otherwise have no particular problems with other programs. Has anyone any ideas on how I can get over this problem?
