I seriously doubt it. All the active developers are in full-time employment, thus NetSurf development is a spare-time activity. Additionally, as soon as money comes into the equation, people begin to think they should have some control over the way in which development goes. It is for exactly this reason that we've only taken donations at shows on the basis that the money raised is used to cover the costs we incur in running the project (e.g. website hosting, show stand rental, and the cost of travel to/from shows and user group meetings).
