I'm happy to announce we just did the first merge of Adam Blokus' GSoC work (providing Export PDF functionality in NetSurf) to our main development branch.
This means that this functionality is now available in the RISC OS Development Builds <URL:http://www.netsurf-browser.org/downloads/testbuilds> or for anyone building his own copy using svn.netsurf-browser.org/trunk/netsurf as SVN source (note: for the latter ones, there are new library dependencies). This GSoC PDF project is not over yet and we are aware of a couple of issues which will be dealt with during the coming weeks. The most important ones are: - PDF files are currently uncompressed (hence, could become quite large) allowing us to examine them more easily. - A couple of possible size and render speed optimisation still need to be considered. - In the currently produced PDF files, standard fonts are used and there isn't proper Unicode support yet. So it is likely you can see odd characters being used when viewing the PDF files. Enjoy, John, as mentor of Adam's work. -- John Tytgat [EMAIL PROTECTED]
