I have noticed the following problem with NetSurf for over a
year now.
As it is possibly not of major interest to most users I have
not said anything publicly until now, but since NetSurf has
become so much more usable since early this year, maybe this
is now the time to draw people's attention to it.
A number of my webpages use the following:
<A
HREF="mailto:[email protected]?subject=booking for Holiday
Ref. AUS
&body=I want to book the Ausonius Way Tour, Ref.
AUS%0a%0d%0a%0d
I was led to your website by %0a%0d%0a%0d
My name is %0a%0d%0a%0d
My full postal address is %0a%0d%0a%0d
My telephone number is %0a%0d%0a%0d
Please phone me on this number at the following time
%0a%0d%0a%0d
Start date of holiday in Germany %0a%0d%0a%0d
Names of all other persons booking %0a%0d%0a%0d
Total number of persons booking %0a%0d%0a%0d
We wish to travel to the holiday by %0a%0d%0a%0d">
<B>Book this Holiday</B></A>
(See <http://www.walking-in-germany.co.uk/aus.htm> for a
case in point)
Clicking on this link when the page is viewed in Fresco
loads all the text into Pluto. Viewing in Firefox or Safari
loads all the text into Thunderbird, IE loads it into
Outlook Express.
But NetSurf only loads until somewhere in the second line of
body text.
