Actually, they show the exact opposite of your interpretation. We've spent the last 2.5 years bending over backwards to ensure that the RISC OS frontend still works, despite it not having a dedicated maintainer. Further, we're currently blocking useful functionality being merged into the core for the precise reason that it will break the RISC OS frontend. That is hardly evidence that the RISC OS frontend is less important than the others. It is simply at a huge disadvantage as it has no maintainer. However, the time has come where we need other people to come forward and actively maintain the RISC OS frontend. We simply do not have the time to maintain it ourselves, particularly if people expect improvements to the core engine. Future major changes to the way in which the core works are liable to require corresponding changes in platform frontends. If any given frontend has no maintainer, then the chances of the required changes being made are very slim indeed. The alternative is that all development stops. Unsurprisingly, we're unwilling to do that. John.
