I changed my business bank earlier this year, as the service had plummeted off a cliff face, after being really excellent (to the extent that I made a number of recommendations of the former bank). I still have a number of personal accounts with them, which are not affected by the issues with the business account. > Many financial commentators remark how strange it is that > people change marriage/life partners more often than they > change banks. I ran the old and new accounts in parallel for about three months, until I had seen most of the direct debits working of the new account. Not that unlike the way some people apparently change their marriage/life partners either. ;-)) And, at least for the moment, there is no sign of my having to use a card reader to set up transactions, either with the new bank, unlike the old one. -- Russell Hafter - Mailing Lists [email protected] Need a hotel? <http://www.hrs.com/?client=en__blue&customerId=416873103> (NB This link needs Firefox to work)
