i obviously didn't at the time (apologies, everybody; Druck told me off too, privately) but when i received them them them them myself i investigated. found that my outgoing mail queue contained a message to an invalid address. not only did it stay sitting there, but MPro (or Hermes or Msgserve, whichever's job it is) did not delete the item to the Netsurf list that DID go out. hence it got sent yet again at next login time. have never seen this phenomenon before. will raise it in the MPro or Hermes list; we'd better not discuss it here in Netsurf. -- Jim Nagel www.archivemag.co.uk
