Yes indeed. That does work, whereas I was referring to the practice of
only placing favicon.ico in the root folder and not adding it to any
specific page which does not work through the filer. If it's in your web
root folder, all pages on your site will (should) display it on the
internet without a specific LINK on any page. Locally, this does not work
when viewing pages with the filer, but does work if you serve pages
(locally) with WebJames, with its DocumentRoot set appropriately.

This is not really netsurf-user related (as all browsers behave like this
AFAICT) so we should take further discussion elsewhere, such as
alt.archimedes.bugs or even the WebJames/PHP list, depending on the next
comment/question. ;-)
