I wish I could tell you exactly why Net-Tamer can't display the main
page at cnn.com. It appears to be loading the page but then it quits
before the entire page is loaded and returns to terminal mode with
nothing displayed. Why do I say it quits before the entire page is
loaded? Because I have used DOSLynx (Lynx386) to go to cnn.com and have
loaded the page and it is about 61K. Net-Tamer doesn't get past about
57K (give or take a K) before it quits loading.
The main page at cnn.com has some javascript on it, but I can't see why
that would prevent Net-Tamer from loading it. DOSLynx can't do
javascript either, but it can load the page. I leave it to someone else
to explain why Net-Tamer can't go to cnn.com and load the page.
I'm using Net-Tamer beta 1.12 dated 3-27-00 and DRDOS 7.03 on a 486DX33
with 36MB of RAM.
