What you need is a "laplink parallel cable" and it shouldn't cost a
fortune. I found a site on the web that is offering them for under
$5.00 and even under $3.00 (for 6 foot cables). They also offer an
"laplink parallel cable adapter" to turn a standard PC printer cable
into a laplink parallel cable and that costs just $1.75. So, don't
spend a fortune on some serial cable if you can find the laplink or
interlnk (try the MSDOS program name on the sales people) parallel
cable.
