Another way you can get what you want is to instead of saving a file go
ahead and use the alt-f for forward mail and then place something into the
address like a "X" or even 1 space from the space bar,
which is what I use. Then what you have in your mailbox
of Nettamer is what you want, with a mail.$?? name. Go ahead and rename that
file and you've got the clean copy without all of the header trash that you
get when saving. I find this works great for messages that I want to save
for future use and I'm just to busy or not interested in editing out all of
that header stuff! Atleast it works great for me!

-I have always wished that Nettamer would allow me to save my
-messages or print them without those long headers. This program
-does the job, and I can clean up my archived message ".pru" files.
-I haven't tried the filters yet.
-Thanks for the program!

->I have placed the latest version of fixmail on
->http://www.mindspring.com/~n8kl/files/fixmail.zip
->Here is part of the documentation:
->fixmail examines the mail.dlu file produced by nettamer and removes
->all egroups ads and optionally the brackets in the subject lines.
->It can also remove unwanted header information, the beginning >
->symbols usually in quoted material, html tags and split lines
->greater than 80 characters long. Your mail can have a mixture of
->egroups and non-egroups messages. Filters can be set up to delete
->messages according to user defined rules.
->1. Get your mail with nettamer as usual. 2. Exit nettamer and run
->fixmail on your mail.dlu file. 3. Read your mail either with a
->text editor or by re-entering nettamer and using its reader.
->Syntax: fixmail [options] [mail_file]
->Options start with a dash and then one or more letters.
->b = backup original mail.dlu to mail.bk,
->h = remove unnecessary header info and enable filtering,
->k = remove brackets from subject line,
->l = divide lines more than 80 characters,
->p = pause program after messages are processed,
->q = remove quote > symbol,
->t = remove html tags,
->u = don't give fixmail: removed html message,
->v = print version and exit.
->mail_file is c:\nettamer\mail.dlu and is needed only if nettamer is
->in a different directory.
->In normal operation, fixmail opens and reads mail.dlu one line at a
->time. The processed mail is stored in a temporary file mail.tmp in
->the same directory as mail.dlu. The program processes the header
->and then the body of each message as it is read. Beginning of
->headers are found by searching for the "+OK" marker and then
->verifying that the "." occurred two lines previously. The end of
->the header is determined by the first blank line. The h option
->causes are stored in that order regardless of how they appear. The
->body of the messages are processed according to the l, q, t and u
->options. The t option removes html tags, the = followed by two
->digits, and the & codes. It isn't a perfect solution but most html
->messages will be quite readable.
->If the b backup option is not used, the original mail.dlu is
->deleted and the mail.tmp is renamed to mail.dlu. If the backup
->option is used, any existing mail.bk file is deleted, mail.dlu is
->renamed to mail.bk, and mail.tmp is renamed to mail.dlu.
->You can apply simple filter rules to messages as follows:
->Create a text file called fixmail.flt in the same directory as
->fixmail.exe.
->Fixmail.flt has the following syntax:
->Lines must be 80 characters or less.
->Lines beginning with ; or # are considered comments and are
->ignored. Blank lines are also ignored.
->Any remaining lines are processed in pairs as follows:
->The first line specifies which header element the rule applies to
->followed by a substring. A colon and space separates the header
->type and substring. For example the line
->flags all messages with the string "escrow" in the subject. Case
->is ignored. The second line is the action line where you tell the
->program what to do. Currently you can to three things. A "p" will
->display a prompt so you can delete or skip the message, a "d"
->deletes without prompting, a pair of digits beeps the speaker with
->the specified frequency and duration.
->You can have five rules defined in fixmail.flt.
