Abrasions: Architecture and Accident
Media Art Screening
Studio 27 presents an evening of avant-garde film, video, and discussion about
the intersection of architecture, disaster and fragmentary space. Many of these
works muse on the relationship between time and place, and question the
significance of the human hand on the landscape. Additional pieces in the
screening reveal an uncanny peek into the everyday occupation of buildings.
Films and videos by: Jay Needham, Christina McPhee, Carl Diehl, Joe Merrell,
Gustavo Almeida-Santos, Luke Sieczek, Scott Stark, Timothy Hutchings, Dominic
Angerame, David Burns, Emil Hrvatin, Peter Senck, Tomonari Nishikawa, Karima
Risk & Linda Saveholt. The artists Dominic Angerame and Tomonari Nishikawa will
be present.
