CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: WORKING TITLE:REDESIGN

The use of particular design elements within built environments, both
private and public, interior and exterior, have the power to modify our
attentions and control human behaviour.

Whether they are corporate boardrooms, over illuminated mega stores,
government service buildings, fitness centresŠ, intentional decisions are
made in order to summon very particular and controlled reactions from the
users.

With this call for submissions we are interested in exploring the
intentional use of design elements found within built environments such as,
spaces of leisure, work environments, sites of power and consumption, public
spacesŠŠ. How are these elements utilized to affect the psychology of the
user? By using these particular design elements, what are some of the
desired outcomes in human responses? How can existing spaces be re-designed
or what new spaces can be created?

As always, TFG encourages artists, architects designers and activists to
apply. We will accept proposals in all forms of media.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS IS APRIL 1, 2007

Proposals can be sent via post to:
