EL OBRADOR DEL ENTE TRANSPARENTE EN INTERMEDIAE

El colectivo C.A.S.I.T.A (En esta ocasión Loreto Alonso, Eduardo
Galvagni, Kamen
Nedev y Diego del Pozo Barriuso) ha creado un espacio para
desarrollar su
proyecto "Ganarse la vida" en Intermediae.
El proyecto pretende generar un espacio de análisis, investigación y
discusión
de las condiciones de trabajo y producción en el sistema actual. Este
espacio
experimentará continuas modificaciones en función de la evolución de la
propuesta. En este momento ofrece al público:
EL OBRADOR
Es el nombre que recibe este espacio de reunión y de puesta en
común. Actualmente se encuentra en el área social de Intermediae,
abierto a los
visitantes que quieran acceder a nuestros recursos y seguir nuestro
desarrollo
del Ente Transparente, una instalación que el colectivo presentará en
Junio de
2007.
EL DECÁLOGO
Intenta dibujar los puntos que nos resultan más relevantes para
hablar hoy en
día del trabajo, como son: El espacio y el tiempo de la producción, la
omnipresencia de los valores simbólicos, la flexibilidad, la
precariedad, el
impacto del trabajo en el tejido social, su importancia primordial en la
construcción de subjetividades, las posibles vías alternativas...
LA BIBLIOTECA
Sobre este dibujo se encuentra una selección de libros que
corresponden a los
distintos puntos del decálogo diferenciados por colores y en los que
hemos
destacado a través de anotaciones, algunas ideas que nos resultan
útiles para
situar la cuestión. Estos libros se presentan para ser consultados en
sala por
cualquier visitante interesado, pero no se prestan.
LA MEDIATECA
Propone una recopilación de películas que abordan la problemática de las
relaciones de trabajo, algunas de las cuales pueden ser vistas en el
monitor
situado en la sala. Estas películas de ficción y documentales han sido
organizadas en torno a varios años que el colectivo C.A.S.I.T.A
considera
fundamentales para abordar las distintas condiciones del trabajo
(1918,1945,1968,1977,1989,1999, 2001 y 2006).
LA INTERFAZ INTERACTIVA
Propone al visitante explorar un entorno virtual en el que se
encontrará con
unos personajes ficticios y alegóricos que le harán preguntas sobre el
trabajo. La interfaz cumple el papel de presentación relacional en el
estado
actual del proyecto y también es una posible vía de comunicación con los
visitantes que interactuando en ella pueden transmitirnos sus
intereses y sus
ideas.
I.R.P.
Además de estos elementos hemos incluido un trabajo previo del colectivo
C.A.S.I.T.A. ( En esa ocasión Loreto Alonso y María Iñigo).
Se trata de tres buzones para medir el I.R.P., un término inventado que
significa Indice de Realizabilidad de un Proyecto, para ello
necesitamos la
colaboración de los visitantes que tienen a su disposición una fichas
en las que
podrán escribir un proyecto que se les ocurra y valorar del 1 al 10,
cuánto
creen que esa idea se puede convertir en un hecho, en una realidad.
Una vez
completada esta información podrán colocar su ficha en el buzón
correspondiente.

Encuentros con C.A.S.I.T.A. en el Obrador:
Con personas y colectivos que están desarrollando proyectos afines al
tema. Se
les presentará en su desarrollo actual y se intercambiarán puntos de
vista e
ideas sobre nuestros intereses comunes en la idea de “Trabajo”.

The Transparent Entity Workshop in Intermediae
The C.A.S.I.T.A. collective (currently, Loreto Alonso, Eduardo
Galvagni, Kamen
Nedev and Diego del Pozo Barriuso), has created a work space for the
development
of their "Earning a Living" project in Intermediae.
The project attempts to generate a space for the analysis, research, and
discussion of the current conditions of work and the contemporary
production
system. This space will undergo a permanent transformation as the
project
develops further. Currently, it offers the following:
The Workshop
... is how we prefer to term this space for meeting and discussion.
It is
currently located in the Social Area of Intermediae, and is open to
anyone
willing to access the resources we provide and to follow the
development of the
Transparent Entity, an installation piece we will present in June 2007.
The Decalogue
... attempts to trace the points we find most relevant when dealing
with the
subject of labour activity, such as: the time and space of
production, the
omnipresence of the production of symbolic vale, flexibility,
precariousness,
the impact of labour relations on the social tissue, their extraordinary
importance in the construction of subjectivity, the possible
alternatives to the
current situation...
The Library
A selection of references is available, situated over the diagram of the
Decalogue, thus mapping out the various conceptual points of the
diagram. The
books have been annotated, singling out a set of ideas we have found
important
when situating the issues at hand. The books are available to anyone
interested,
but for reference only.
The Media Archive
... presents a selection of films and other media art which engages
the problem
of labour relations, to be viewed on-site. These films, both fiction and
documentaries, have been organised according to a number of dates
that the
C.A.S.I.T.A. collective has found to be pivotal in the historical
development of
production relations (1918, 1945, 1968, 1977, 1989, 1999, 2001 and
2006).
The Interactive Interface
... presents the visitor with an explorable, interactive fiction,
virtual
environment in which one meets a series of fictional, allegoric
characters who
will ask them questions on their labour activity. The interface
fulfils two
simultaneous functions - a relational presentation of the state of
the project,
and also a possible additional means of communicating with the
visitors, who can
leave their ideas and concerns through their interaction with it.

Aside from the above-mentioned elements, we have included an earlier
project of
the C.A.S.I.T.A. collective (consisting, back then, of Loreto Alonso
and María
Íñigo).
Three postboxes have been set-up to measure the I.R.P., a fictional
term which
means Índice de Realizabilidad de un Proyecto (A Project's Index of
Feasibility). Its operation requires the visitors' participation, by
filling in
the cards with information about unrealised projects, and evaluating
their
feasibility on a scale of 1 to 10. Once they have filled in the
details, they
can drop the card into the corresponding box.

C.A.S.I.T.A. work meetings in the Workshop
The meetings will be organised by appointment with individuals and
collectives
who are developing similar projects to our own. They will be
presented with the
current state of the "Earning a Living" project, and we will exchange
points of
view and ideas regarding our common interests in the field of labour and
production relations.
