David Gunkel has published his second book, "Thinking Otherwise: Philosophy, 
Communication, Technology."  The book is part of the Purdue University Press 
series in Communication and Philosophy and includes chapters on the Matrix 
films, the digital divide, virtual reality and drug culture, the status of 
books in the information age, and the moral responsibilities of machines.  More
