The Young Curators Workshops at the Centre for African Studies
enjoyed a fantastic launch on Saturday, with Andrew Lamprecht
providing an inspiring talk and enjoyable and productive workshop =96
the products of which are as diverse and interesting as the
participants who arrived.
Thank you to everyone who attended, and I hope to see you for the
duration of the workshops. This Saturday, May 1= 2th, Myer Taub will
be facilitating the curators workshop, which focuses pa= rticularly
on notions of curating and performance.
Taub is a curato= r, performer, writer and cultural theorist who has
been involved in a numbe= r of hugely innovative projects, including
the =91inHeritage=92 event aroun= d UCT and =91Injunction,=92 which
sent visitors on an heritage treasure hun= t throughout the city.
Please note that the workshops are free and = open to all.
