 on the lived space.

5pm Interview with Kalle Pakarinen, historian of the Imatra museum, on the
conceptualised space.

The broadcast features field recording work by Ricardo Atienza.

This work is Gregoire Rousseau’s doctoral artistic component.

Radio is both an artistic practice, a means of communication, and an
infrastructure. The radio broadcast is open to the public, and intends to
produce a space for alternative narratives on the city of Imatra in the
symbolic Väärätalo building. The discussions will approach forms of social and
spatial forms of reappropriation of the city after Alvar Aalto’s city plan.
Referring to philosopher Henri Lefebvre’s theory on the production of space,
the broadcast will integrate the conceptual triad of space, sometimes referred
to as the trialectics of spatiality.
