still stands: *American Affair* is trying to distinguish nationalism from
the embarrassment it has suffered at the hands of Trump. As for
"half-joking" about Zizek, the 'joke' is that Zizek has been arguing for a
red-brown alliance, which came directly in the wake of arguing for
restricting immigration from Muslim countries, and diatribes about
transgender people <

not a marxist, but a Hegelian. Like Hegel, he's been making arguments for a
Christian state.
