That's my cue to mention this book: https://www.amazon.com/Dreamer-Day-Francis-Postwar-International/dp/1570270392/
It was written by Kevin Coogan, who sadly died a couple of years ago. Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable about the far right, and in particular the European New Right. The book is nominally a biography of the American fascist Francis Parker Yockey, but it covers the roots of the red-brown movement in great detail, including Dugin and all the rest. I'd consider it required reading on the subject. The book was published by your friends at Autonomedia (designed and copyedited by yrs truly.)
