Nikos posted a patch providing HKDF functionality just this week, and
got good feedback from Niels about how to improve it. Take a look at
the list archives for more details. I suspect this functionality will
land in Nettle soon, since Nikos is writing code and Niels is reviewing
and doesn't seem opposed to it.
