Hi Netty folks, I recently wrote this blog post (on my tech blog) where I talk about Netty and some of it's fundamentals and an introductory tutorial (with complete design and working implementation) on how to use Netty to build RPC layer of a distributed system. The link to source code is available in the blog post. It is fully working and tested code (from RPC communication point of view).
