Did you mean better, because it automatically gets deleted in 7 days? With the rate of online document archiving that is getting to be routine nowadays, such deletion hardly matters anymore. At Googledocs, document uploaders are also free to delete the document whenever they please. In fact, this one can be deleted on Monday, I guess, and that will also make it less likely to get archived by a search engine, if that is the fear. While this use of Googledocs is for a relatively trivial (i.e putting up a readymade poster), most people I know use it for collaborative development of documents. Can you suggest other public hosted services that offer reliable and useful collaborative document processing (formatted text editing, picture/video editing, presentation hosting etc)? Please note, while the fosscomm site has wiki, that is only useful (afaik) for text editing, not for the other purposes, aside from the fact that this service is not freely available to aam janta.
