Monty Widinius had his own axe to grind, which was primarily him 
wanting to keep the MySQL copyright so that he could continue to dual 
licence. He completely forgot that there was a gpld version, which he 
could work with (minus the dual licence option).

So dont quote Monty as an example. This cause can stand completely on 
it's own merit.
