AFAIK Turbo C++ is not standard complaint compiler, it does not serve
our purpose whether they use it on Windows or Linux. Right?

One more important thing, this weekend I had decided to go through
"Let Us C" and to write gcc versions for all the example programs
given in it. I had downloaded a PDF version of the book from here,
http://www.scribd.com/doc/2338140/Let-Us-C-Yashwant-Kanetkar
However when I started going through the programs, I was shocked to
see that the programs could actually be compiled through gcc without
any errors. They did give a few warnings, only because "stdio.h" was
not included in all programs and "main()" function did not return
"int".
Hence, I think that the programs given in the book are actually
standard C compliant and in-fact those executing in Turbo C, will get
many errors as the programs do not include "conio.h", "getch()". Can
somebody who has a hard-copy of the book, confirm that the link that I
have shared is actually the right PDF version of the book. Also can
somebody with expert knowledge in C, confirm if the programs are
actually Standard compliant or not.
