things look very rosy when we talk in cyberspace about good things like public domain software, open source and free software. The basic necessity of a technical institution is AICTE affiliation and the AICTE inspectors have little or no respect for FOSS. If AICTE guidelines need be changed EXPLICITLY so that these inspectors may not open mouth randomly against FOSS. And kindly don't think that you can make them understand nice things by anyway talking to them/showing anything to them. They just rudely ask to listen to them and follow.
