For those who can follow Malayalam, the Manorama News report -- along with the news video -- can be found here: http://www.manoramanews.com/cgi-bin/MMOnline.dll/portal/ep/mmtvContentView.do?programId=1186581&BV_ID=@@@&tabId=14&contentId=7391116
As Sasi says, the report is very poorly written and hugely biased against FOSS. The reporter, like so many on regional TV channels, apparently believes that speaking emphatically is an adequate substitute for marshalling facts. But then, the regional press is a strange beast that adheres to no known journalistic principles. Is there any point in offering these dimwits a rebuttal? The Left wing govt. in Kerala is unlikely to be swayed by a news group that's slightly to the right of Sarah Palin. <http://www.manoramanews.com/cgi-bin/MMOnline.dll/portal/ep/mmtvContentView.do?programId=1186581&BV_ID=@@@&tabId=14&contentId=7391116> Sajan On Tue, Jun 15, 2010 at 11:23 PM, V.
