Thanks to European Commission, standardisation of mobile chargers is
happening. Apple, Motorola, Nokia, Blackberry and Samsung will release
phones with standard microUSB chargers.
India being the biggest mobile market should take up such initiatives..
by offering duty benefits for standards compliant hardware.
Sony uses proprietary memory.
Apple uses proprietary cable.
Most phones use proprietary charges including Indian manufacturers.
