Just for the sake of Discussions and flaming the posters? Small members like me have been posting issues continuously regarding how GOVT. organizations are still mandating use of Windows even after Dept. of Information Technology have been declaring that software used in Govt machinery should be Platform independent (rather use FOSS) Even then proprietary tools have been made mandatory. Why? I have been sending requests to Govt websites since many years asking them to consider users like me who cannot afford Windows, but still it falls on deaf ears. I felt relief when I came across this group and thought that since this group has many biggies whom I can report such issues so that they can follow up (in a diplomatic and peaceful way) with that the govt. realizes the need and change accordingly. But here things were more ignorant than govt. rather, I was several tomes flamed on being "DEMANDING" and "LAZY" who only keeps on complaining. Now I know I will receive flamings for this too.
