"the new open80211s (o11s) technology will enable the development and
rollout of large-scale mesh Wi-Fi networks for roughly half the cost of a
traditional network"

I thought the 'section' of PC World where this article features might also
be of interest to our listmembers: Business Center. This is something that
needs a little more pointed highlighting when FOSS solutions are being
discussed, be it educationware or any other. If the mainstream media accepts
that free software comes at a price and as part of routine mainstream
business deals, there is no reason why government departments should behave
as though someone has to offer charity in order to compete with proprietary
software solutions.
