I can't find enough words to describe this loss :( He came to smc as a google summer of code student to work on an phonetic key map for Malayalam (inspired by Bolnagri called Lalitha) and since then he was actively involved in many Free Software initiatives even when he was in hospital bed. It is hard to believe he is not with us any more.

Jinesh was a great fighter. he fought with Leukemia by contributing code . His all major contributions came from hospital bed , as commits in PYPDFlib and silpa project and editing of www-ml translations shyam left out . he was in CMC Vellore almost 2 years for his treatment . He took a major role in preparing critiques for CDACs IDN Draft and Inscript draft standard. whenever we spoke about his Leukemia, he used XKCD comics to mention his state. his favorite ones were these http://xkcd.com/931/ and http://xkcd.com/938/ I am copying my last chat with him here from sep 4th .
