"Our team has been approved for the second phase of SIPA´s Public Policy
Challenge Grant and we are looking for two new members.

Our goal is to develop an Open Government Tool Kit for Urban Policies -
that is, an online platform aimed at the exchange of problems and
solutions related to big data analysis applied to urban policies. We
will analyze current experiences from Rio, Mumbai and NY in order to
promote a learning and exchange environment on best practices, common
tools, ideas, and code.

We are looking for people with the following profiles:

• 1 graduate student with skills in software engineering, statistics,
data analysis and project management interested in public policy and
developing technology innovations for city governments, and

• 1 graduate student from India (preferable) or interested in India
studies to conduct research on innovations in Big Data in Mumbai.
Selected student shall act as project manager for India and be available
to travel (sponsored) to India during the summer of 2014.
