Incidentally, Sayahna has Englsh content also here: http://www.sayahna.org/?page_id=31 including Einstein's Theory of Relativity and Poincare's Science and Hypothesis.

I would also like to add that the State Institute of Languages, Kerala, is converting all their books into Unicode and creating pdfs and, hopefully, epub versions. Some of them are bound to be available under a Free licence.

    The government of Kerala adopted TeX and free software when it
    wanted to
    make PDF, ePub and a responsive web site of the contents of its
    handbook
    about hundreds of welfare/assistance schemes meant for the
    population. The
    book was released yesterday by Pinarayi Vijayan, chief minister of
    Kerala
    when his administration turned two years. The government further
    went ahead
    to release the content and the digital formats under the terms of
    Creative
    Commons license which might be the first of its kind by a
    government in
    India.

    Along with the government, Sayahna too hosted the content which can be
    accessed at

    http://welfare.sayahna.org
    http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.pdf
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.pdf>
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.pdf
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.pdf>>
    http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.epub
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.epub>
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.epub
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/downloads/welfare.epub>>

    While it'll be dutch to my non-Malayalam speaking friends, it might be
    interesting for them if they visited

    http://welfare.sayahna.org/colophon.html
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/colophon.html>
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/colophon.html
    <http://welfare.sayahna.org/colophon.html>>

    If you live in Kerala, kindly share the links so that it reaches the
    maximum number of people to enable them to avail the many
    benefits/assistance offered by the government.
