The current zones network administration model wouldn't allow any of
the profiles functionality to take place in a non-global zone. If that
changes, it's possible that some of the profile management could be
broken out into local zones; but the event handler would still live
in the global zone, distributing information to profile daemon(s) as
needed.
But there is a piece underway as part of project crossbow which will
allow the profile functionality to work just fine in a non-global zone;
non-global zones that have their own exclusive IP stack.
With this is mind it might be suboptimal to rely on sysevent, unless
sysevent is extended to be useful from non-global zones.
