Use a virtual device instead of bcme0:1 for my local zones and using the NAT configuration from this site

http://blogs.sun.com/roller/page/ford?entry=using_nat_in_the_global

to configure NAT for the zones.

That doesn't seem like a candidate for vni. The problem is that the
non-global zone(s) need *some* connection to the outside world - at
least one physical interface. vni doesn't connect to anything, it's
just a placeholder for addresses.

The CrossBow project plans to create a new kind of "virtual network"
(we're running out of names for all these concepts) that will connect
one zone to another. Then you'll be able to give your non-global zone
a private virtual cable connecting it to the global zone, and the
global zone can do routing and NAT in a more "natural" way than the
ugly ARP hacks that are necessary in S10.
