Depends what you mean by strong business case. It's just that with one of our application which is running on Linux right now tcp_cork helps a lot. There's some consideration to migrate it to Solaris - right now we are using DTrace on it. It's too hard to re-write application to use only writev/sendfilev and is much easier to implement tcp_cork.
