Sure.  The flag is an indication to an observer, such as ifconfig,
to find out which interface is being used for LLA communication.
I think a flag is the easiest way for this.

Before going into implementation details, I guess we need to get
back to my original questions.  So far, the reasons to support
having LLA in Solaris are Bonjour and debugging (note that the
debugging part cannot be done without other things, such as a way
to advertise the machine).  Are there other?  If not, are they
sufficient reasons to add this support?
