Correct, except that the second file must be "/etc/hostname.bfe0".

The /etc/hostname.* file directs the 'ifconfig plumb' action.  The
/etc/dhcp.* file tells DHCP to run.

Right, because the interface must be plumbed in order to use it for
DHCP.
