Folks,

I'm not sure if this is a known bug or not, but enabling the nwam service on a recent clearview build doesn't work after the system boots. It results in:

bash-3.00# ifconfig bge0
bge0: flags=201000842<BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,CoS> mtu 1500 index 2
        inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0
        ether 0:3:ba:44:44:2a

In order for nwamd to use the interface, the nwam service needs to be manually restarted:

bash-3.00# svcadm restart nwam
bash-3.00# ifconfig bge0
bge0: flags=201004843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,DHCP,IPv4,CoS> mtu 1500 index 4
        inet 10.8.57.44 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 10.8.57.255
        ether 0:3:ba:44:44:2a

Is this a known bug? I can file one if it isn't.

-Seb
