Garrett and I have had some discussions about this offline. The first phase of the project will deliver the dladm interface and programmatic API, so that Solaris users will see a significantly better adminstrative interface for features like Jumbograms. Phase I will also deliver a clean solution wrt ndd implementation in the driver, so that drivers will no longer need to implement complex ndd handling code even for legacy support of existing ndd usage. Phase II of the project will address the kstat cleanup, with a more dedicated focus on the driver cleanliness itself. --Sowmini _______________________________________________ networking-discuss mailing list [email protected]
