Well, fortunately, pfil has it's mechanisms to retrieve the v4/v6 streams
through a lookup.
I did a lookup for the v4 stream associated with the NIC. Did a putnext to the
read queue associated to that v4 stream and all i experience is only a crash.

Am sure that the v4 pkt is properly constructed [ because v6 stream was able to
detect that it's a v4 pkt and was able to drop them ] and that may not be the
reason for the crash per se. How else can i debug this crash ? Or am i doing
something wrong here ?
