I have written in the past by a similar problem, see: http://www.opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?threadID=29381&tstart=150 The propose solution in that case works, and still it works. But... it always has a "but", in the case of my laptop with Realtek 8139 didnt work. I have been looking for info in dmesg, and found this:
